Brandon Schwartz, PhD, PE

Founder, CEO

Brandon Schwartz is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Terraforma and is an expert in the areas of clean energy technology, carbon markets, process modeling, and financial engineering (LCA, techno-economics) to create lower risk, bankable opportunities for decarbonization projects. His work focuses on novel technological and financial solutions to close multiple-entity deals and to create projects with attractive financial return for every decision maker. He holds BS, MS, and doctoral degrees in energy engineering and is a licensed professional engineer.

Joshua Schwartz, MBA

Founder, CDO

Joshua Schwartz is the founder and Chief Development Officer of Terraforma, where he leads the origination and development of energy and infrastructure projects from concept through financial close. His work spans solar, nuclear, geothermal, biomass, carbon capture, and low-carbon fuels with a focus on structuring complex, multi-stakeholder transactions to advance projects from early-stage development to investable opportunities. He holds a dual MBA / MRE with cross-institutional concentrations in Development, Finance, and Renewable Energy (Georgetown, Texas A&M).
